Preventive eye care

Clear sight is only part of the story.

A comprehensive eye exam checks how well you see, but it also assesses eye pressure, focusing and coordination, the optic nerve, retina and other structures. Some eye diseases—and signs associated with broader health conditions—may be detected before you notice a change.

The right exam frequency depends on age, health, family history, medications and previous findings. Children, people with diabetes, adults with a family history of glaucoma and anyone experiencing new symptoms may need closer monitoring.

Digital retinal imaging can provide a detailed baseline for comparing the back of the eye over time. At RevitalEyes, retinal imaging is $60, or $150 when combined with a full eye exam for private-pay or insured patients.

Choosing eyewear

The best pair works with your real life.

Start with how you use your eyes: driving, computer work, reading, outdoor activity and hobbies may each influence the lens design that feels best. Your prescription, frame measurements and fit matter just as much as the style.

Ask about lens thickness and weight, anti-reflective treatment, sun protection, scratch resistance, Transitions, computer-specific designs and prescription sunglasses. Our team explains which upgrades may genuinely help—and which ones you may not need.

Frame fit affects comfort, lens position and how well your prescription performs. We assess bridge fit, temple length, frame width and how the frame sits when you move.
