Our eye-care practice has been part of Boxgrove and East Markham since 2014. Dr. Mathuraa Sasitharan took over the practice in 2020 and continues to lead RevitalEyes Eye Care as owner and optometrist, with a focus on thoughtful care, honest advice and welcoming service.

Dr. Mathuraa Sasitharan

Dr. Sasitharan has led the practice as owner and optometrist since 2020. Her own childhood experience with glasses inspired her to help others see and feel their best. She is known for patient, no-rush appointments and for explaining eye health in a way that feels clear and reassuring.

She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages in Ontario, with appointments in English and Tamil. She previously held a U.S. optometry licence and practised in Chicago for one year.

Lakshan Bala

Raised in Markham, Lakshan brings a medical background and a genuine commitment to warm, family-friendly service. He helps patients choose frames and lenses that fit their vision, style, routine and budget.

Lakshan also handles personalized fittings, adjustments and minor repairs. His goal is simple: make sure every person leaves comfortable, confident and well cared for.
